You
can tour by foot, by boat, by luxury bus, by

Whatever
you want to see, you can probably find a tour for
it. There are tours of downtown Miami's
skyscrapers and parks and sightseeing cruises from
the marina at Bayside Marketplace. The most popular tours are the walking tours
of the Art Deco District in Miami Beach. Some Art Deco tours include the latest gossip
in celebrity sightings.
For
something on the wild side, try a nature tour.
Greater Miami is the only metropolitan area in the
U.S. whose borders encompass two national parks -
Everglades National Park and Biscayne National Park. Try a bike tour of the Everglades or a glass
bottom boat tour at Biscayne National Park.
You
can get picked up at your Miami hotel for a bus trip
to Key West, Walt Disney World, or to the Everglades
Alligator Farm and an airboat ride.
Dr.
Paul George, a local history professor, conducts a
variety of unique tours including a Miami Cemetery
Tour, a Miami River Tour, tours of Miami's quirky
neighborhoods, and a boat tour of Stiltsville, a
special neighborhood on stilts in the middle of
Biscayne Bay.
You
can enjoy a romantic rickshaw tour by moonlight in
Coconut Grove or take
a tour of famous crime scenes in Miami.
For
25 cents, you can take a self-guided tour in
downtown Miami's Metromover, an elevated monorail
car that offers a bird's eye view of the city
below. The
Tri-Rail offers guided tours from Miami to Palm
Beach and Fort Lauderdale.
